how it

all started

Starbird's vision from the beginning was to re-invent the traditional fast food experience. We knew it was time for the Super-Premium Fast Food category to be created.

Starbird Franchise - Vision and history

brand history

Starbird was founded in 2016 by Aaron Noveshen and The Culinary Edge, a premier innovation agency in food and beverage. Starbird was built on the belief that people can get great quality, flavorful food at a price point that delivers exceptional convenience and value. Starbird merges the strongest elements of Fast Food and Fast Casual to create a brand new market segment, Super-Premium Fast Food. Long before we opened our doors, we were obsessed with perfecting our recipe for crispy chicken.

We believed that fried chicken hadn’t reached its true potential, too often being heavy, greasy and featuring the same old flavors. After trying 100 different recipes, we landed on a perfectly crispy, gluten friendly piece of chicken that paired tremendously well with sauces, salads, sandwiches, tacos and more. Starbird has been experiencing unprecedented positive results before, during and after the ongoing challenges from the pandemic.

Starbird Chicken's roots

Our roots

Founded in 2016 by Aaron Noveshen and The Culinary Edge, a premier innovation agency in Food & Beverage.  Since then, our team of chefs have spent years crafting our menu flavors to wow our guests on a daily basis.

And now that we’ve turned the industry upside down with our positively delicious chicken that is also good for you, we are trailblazing a path for our super-premium fast food across the US.

OUr food secrets

Starbird Franchise - tenders

the chicken

Our chicken is light and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Never raised with antibiotics, never treated with hormones, never frozen and always hand breaded in a secret blend of gluten free flour and spices.

Starbird Franchise - sandwiches

The Bread

We bake two different kinds of bread in-house everyday, our traditional bolillo roll and a dutch crunch roll. The finished product is soft, warm and golden brown.

Starbird Franchise - Gardenbird sandwich

Plant-based

We offer a proprietary plant based protein, Gardenbird, which can be substituted on any of our menu items.

Starbird Franchise - sauces

9 House-made Sauces

Our house-made sauces compliment our chicken perfectly. Whether you are in the mood for sweet, savory or spicy, we have you covered. Our famous “Star Sauce” has become a fan favorite.

The Veggies

We’re proud to own the fast-food salad category, with salads making up a large subset of our product mix. Our veggies are hand-chopped, roasted and pickled everyday. We finish our salads with craveable house-made dressings.
